freemium advice

Communications consultant Rachel Thornton is offering freemium advice to Yorkshire businesses with more than 100 employees.

The experienced consultant has helped UK giants such as Marks & Spencer, first direct and Norwich Union engage their employees, increase their performance and improve customer service.

“We’ve all been watching businesses struggle in the last year and it’s at times like this when employees start to feel uncertain, under-valued and de-motivated,” explains Rachel.

“To survive and compete in today’s commercial climate, businesses need to leverage every possible competitive advantage. As companies restructure, down size or cut budgets, employees need to understand why.  This is not a luxury; engaged employees give better service and are more productive. Making sure your employees are pulling in the same direction as you can make the difference between success and failure.

“As a business owner myself, I know how tough it is right now so I had the idea to offer my initial advice for free; give local businesses something for nothing! I’ll come into any business with over 100 employees, spend some time talking to staff and leaders to assess the current state of play. Then I’ll make some recommendations for how to make the most of your human capital and turn that into a real competitive advantage.”
